UAV Pilot


Education: Bachelor’s degree and four years’ experience.

Prior Military assignment as a pilot in either fixed wing or rotary wing aircraft.

Prefer IFR and VFR rating.

Previous experience in OCONUS operating environment.

Must be able to meet medical minimum standards for CRC.

Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance. Current possession of Secret clearance preferred.

Valid US Passport for at least three years.

US citizenship required.

Air Vehicle Operator/Pilot (AVO/P). The AVO/P is responsible for the safe operation of the air vehicle. The AVO/P is also responsible for performing AV preflight; performing Ground Control Station (GCS) preflight and post-flight; ensuring the safety of the AV during takeoff, flight, and landing; completing the flight log book; completing the AV maintenance log book (log times and any discrepancies); and execute missions in accordance with instructions from the Mission Commander (MC) and notify the MC of any unsafe conditions.
